The short version

The World Bible Guide app collects nothing about you. There is no account, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The entire Bible ships inside the app and is read on your device. This website — separate from the app — uses Google Analytics to count visits, which is described below.

What the app collects

Nothing. The app declares no collected data types in its App Store privacy manifest and contacts no tracking domains. It does not use analytics of any kind.

What this website collects

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. It records pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, referring site, and general device and browser type, and it sets cookies to do so. We use it only in aggregate — we never try to identify individual visitors, and the data is not sold or used for advertising.

Browser "Do Not Track" settings, content blockers, and Google's own opt-out add-on all prevent this collection. None of it affects the app, which contains no analytics whatsoever.

What stays on your device

Your preferences — reading font size, and where you were last reading — are stored locally on your device using the system's standard preference storage. They are never transmitted to us and are removed when you delete the app.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. Purchases, renewals, and cancellations are handled through your Apple ID, and we never see or store your payment details. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings at any time.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, so it collects none from children. The website's analytics are aggregate and are not used to build profiles of visitors of any age.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
